In 1993 David became an entrepreneur running his own catalog mail order business.

He hired his friends to pass out fliers within the community, giving them commission on any products that were sold, and he took out ads in the local newspaper. Eventually, the business became so successful that he needed six people just to help him keep up with orders. Whether personally or professionally, David believes success starts with a vision and then he follows a clear plan to bring that vision to life.

Bringing Art to Life

Even as a young child, David was a visionary. People have even called him a “dreamer,” but David’s unique gift for seeing and acting on opportunity is what has made him such a success in life and in business. After searching the entire country, David finally found a Rolls Royce Silver Spur in mint condition whose paint had never seen a drop of rain. David jumped at the bargain that was offered at the estate sale, negotiating and winning over a couple who had flown across the country for the car. He spent the next year appreciating every artistic feature of its sculptured frame. What made the purchase even more special was that his parents had always dreamed of owning a car like this one, and in a way, it felt like he was fulfilling their dream.

When it eventually came time to sell the car in 2001, David was very selective about its new owner. David believes that something with such fine craftsmanship and detail is worth respecting and honoring. Before turning over the keys to the new owner, he made sure that the car would be well taken care of. This simple gesture is just another reflection of the rare conscientiousness David applies to every area of his life.
